Disk aerator is also named aeration turnplate,disk rotor aerator,rotor aeration system,orbal disc aerator,disc aerator,rotary disk aerator, rotor brush aerator,ditch rotor aerators,ditch rotor oxidation system,ditch rotor aerator,oxidation ditch surface aerator.

Belonging to horizontal hub rotor disc type surface plug flow aerator in the mechanical aerator. The aerator is composed of an aeration turnplate, a horizontal shaft, bearings at two ends, a motor and a reducer. The turnplate surface is provided with trapezoidal lugs and round pits to increase air volume brought into mixed liquor and improve capability of cutting bubble and pushing mixed liquor. The installation density of the turnplates can be regulated to regulate the installation quantity of the turnplate on the machine set according to oxygen needing amount. Each turnplate can be independently disassembled for maintenance. The aeration turning disk is a core part of the disk aerator, directly related to the aeration efficiency of the aerator.

The aerator rotor disc produced by our company is uniformly provided with a lot of trapezoidal and triangle convexes, and a lot of round blind holes are arranged between convex and concave, which fully puts mechanics theory into use. This special structure makes the disk of disk aerator form numerous small water curtains when running to hold air in the water. Meanwhile, the blind holes on the disk bring a lot of air to intensively mix with treated water, so the oxygen in the air dissolved in water to form oxygenated water, and the best oxygenation and flow-pushing capability can be achieved under identical dynamic conditions. The disk is machined by one-time high-pressure injection molding, which conquers a series of disadvantages resulted from hand lay-up mould pressing manner or glass fiber reinforced plastic material. The disk is made of a novel imported engineering plastic that is polystyrene, compared with other common materials to make disk, having non-deformation, high temperature resistance, impact resistance, etc.
